Melb Victory Player Visit – Wed 16th May

Melbourne Victory player Diogo Ferreira will be visiting the Argonauts Wednesday 16th May from 6pm – 8pm to have a kick, have photos taken and sign autographs. Everyone is welcome.

At the age of 16, Diogo completed a trial with Portuguese giants FC Porto and was signed to their club’s youth academy. After a short stint with Green Gully, Melbourne Victory signed him to their youth team in 2009, before promoting him to the senior list in 2010. The young midfielder made his debut against Kawasaki Frontale in the Asian Champions League in the same year. Diogo has also represented Australia at under-23 level.

An alternative to Crawford St, is to use Victor Ave (next street up).

Round 1 matches begin this weekend (14th/15th April) and training is on as per normal during the week for all teams.
Uniforms will be handed out to all new players.
