BABNet
A new initiative for 2008, is the establishment of the Bayside Argonauts Business Network (BABNet).
The idea is to establish a network of business professionals who are players, sponsors, supporters or friends of the Bayside Argonauts, to meet regularly to discuss business and football in a relaxed and social environment. Â Functions will have a social and business networking objective whilst helping raise sponsorship funds and profile of the Bayside Argonauts. Â We are aiming at 3 – 4 lunches during the year and a Golf Day towards the end of the year.
A Bayside Argonauts Business Directory will be established which will include the business contact details of all members for networking and referral purposes. Â The details will be distributed to all members and be published on our website under a separate tab for further exposure. The intention is that individuals and businesses will be promoted around the club. Â Hopefully this will lead to work and referrals being generated and foster an environment where business relationships / associations will develop.
The first official function will be held at Sapore, 3 -5 Fitzroy Street StKilda on Friday April 4th at 12.30 PM. Â By attending this function your details will automatically be added to the Bayside Argonauts Business Directory – there is no further cost to join. Â A nominal fee will be charged if you would like to sponsor a future luncheon and present / market your business to the group.
The first function is proudly sponsored by the MWT Group. Â Director Peter Kara’s presentation will focus on how to inspire and engage your employees to get the best out of them.
