On Saturday the 20 February 2010 six U18 players made their debut in Seniors & Reserves teams. This was a big occasion for the youngsters as it was their first taste of Senior football. Joe Fissher and Chad Golic played for the seniors against provisional 1 team South Yarra which ended in a o:o draw. Alistair Driscol, Alex Steele, Matt Blackwell and Marek Losinski played for the Reserves. Well done boys. Both Senior and Reserves coaches were very impressed and are looking to give all our U18’s the opportunity to play for our Seniors and Reserves in the pre-season Casey Comets Cup and throughout the 2010 season. 

Bayside Argonauts Veterans  are 2010 Hellenic Cup Champions for the second year running defeating Kingston City 5 : 0

The Bayside Argonauts cruised into the final of the Hellenic Cup after a convincing 4-0 semi-final victory over Cretans. This Saturday February 20th, they face tournament hosts Kingston in the final at 12 noon Grange Reserve, Osborne Avenue Clayton South . The Veterans will be looking at back to back cup victories having won the same tournament last year.

Congratulations to Con and Kathy Arvanitis who have welcomed little James to the world. Little James is said to be favouring his left side already. His cries at night sound very similar to his father being tackled but fortunately for him he has inherited his mother’s good looks.

We were saddened to hear recently of the passing of Kon Kolokithas’ father. Our deepest sympathies to Kon and his family.
